Vandals slashed tires on the private cars of six Denver firefighters at three different stations Sunday night.
Phil Champagne, Denver Fire Department spokesman, said the vandals struck at fire stations in southwest, southeast and central Denver.
In each case, several of the tires on the vehicles were slashed.
Champagne said the same thing occurred last month at another station.
He said firefighters' cars are vulnerable when they respond to emergencies.
"But we can't feel sorry for ourselves," he said. "It happens to people every day. We're no different."
