Published February 26, 2009 at 12:05 a.m.

A single-engine Husky airplane made a hard landing Wednesday at Centennial Airport. The pilot, who was not identified, was not hurt.

The incident happened about 4:38 p.m. on the airport's southeast runway.

"It had a hard landing because of the winds," said Robert Olislagers, executive director of the airport.

According to the airport's Web site, winds were blowing at 24 mph, with gusts up 35 mph.
