MWC honors Wyoming's Ewing

Wyoming senior guard Brandon Ewing was named the men's basketball player of the week with Utah center Luke Nevill by the Mountain West Conference.
Ewing last week became the second player in league history to surpass the 2,000-point career mark.
* Colorado School of Mines freshman center Dale Minschwaner was named the East Division men's basketball player of the week by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
* Colorado Mines athlete Jessie Dennis was named the men's diver of the year by the RMAC.
Mesa State's Brian Pearson shared women's swimming coach of the year honors with Phillip Davis of the University of Incarnate Word.
* Former Colorado Mines diver Rick Williamson (1977 to 1981) and swimmer Mike Anderson (1981 to 1984) were named to the all-time men's swimming team for the RMAC.
Former Regis University swimmer Laura Strickland (1982 to 1984) was named to the women's team.
Former Orediggers coach Bob McCandless (1968 to 1997) was named the all-time men's coach.
