Doors were locked this afternoon at Smoky Hill High School, Laredo Middle School and some nearby elementary schools as Aurora police searched for suspects in a home invasion.

By 3 p.m., four suspects were in custody and the lockdown was lifted, said Detective Shannon Lucy.

The call came in at 12:32 p.m. regarding a robbery at a house in the 4500 block of South Hannibal Street, Lucy said.

Students were not allowed to leave the schools during the lockdown.
